Cricket Day

Join us for our annual CRT Cricket Day on Sunday 20 September at Pevensey Cricket Club for cricket, refreshments and plenty of fun throughout the day.

This year, the event will follow a league format, with three teams playing each other once before an overall winner is crowned:

• CRT Angels
• Pevensey Cricket Club
• Eastbourne Taxis

Hosted by Don McPhee and David Beck on behalf of Children’s Respite Trust, it promises to be a fantastic day of cricket and community spirit.

Event timetable

11am – Arrive and meet

11.30am – Fixtures confirmed and toss

12 noon – First league game: CRT Angels vs Pevensey CC

1.30pm – First game ends

1.45pm – Toss for second game

2pm – Second league game: CRT Angels vs Eastbourne Taxis

3.30pm – Second game ends

3.45pm – Toss for final game

4pm – Final league game: Pevensey CC vs Eastbourne Taxis

5.30pm – Final game ends, with a bowl-off if needed to decide the winner

6pm – Awards and raffle

Food and Refreshments

There will be plenty to enjoy alongside the cricket, including a BBQ, bar, ice cream van and refreshments in the pavilion.

It's free for spectators so simply come along, support the teams and help us raise vital funds for Children’s Respite Trust.
