A Fantastic Few Days at the Arlington Bluebell Walk & Farm Trail

What an incredible couple of days we had at the Arlington Bluebell Walk & Farm Trail on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th April!

We were absolutely delighted to take over the café, where we served a range of lunches alongside a wonderful selection of delicious homemade cakes. Every bake was lovingly prepared by our amazing supporters and the response from visitors was fantastic.

One of the highlights of the event was welcoming along our teenage group, All Stars. It was so special to see them enjoying a walk through the beautiful bluebells, taking in the surroundings and spending time together in such a relaxed and uplifting setting.

After exploring the trail, the group also had the chance to visit the café, where they could enjoy the atmosphere and be part of the event. Creating opportunities like this for young people to socialise, build confidence and simply have fun is such an important part of what we do, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles throughout the day.

This event truly showcased the power of community. We are so grateful for the generous donations of food and support from a wide range of local businesses and partners, including STR – Simon Turner Refrigeration, J Kirby Electrical Ltd, Elite Fine Foods, Tescos Uckfield, Hope Springs Smallholding, Fairfield Farm Crisps, Chef’s Pantry, WestWays Vending, Handelsbanken, C J Thorne & Co Ltd, Belvoir Farm, Tailor Made Newhaven, Sussex Food Markets, Morrisons and Baldwin Boxall.

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible volunteers, who worked tirelessly in the café and across the event. From preparing and serving food to keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, their energy and dedication made all the difference. We simply couldn’t have done it without them.

And of course, thank you to everyone who came along to support us. Whether you stopped by for lunch, treated yourself to a slice of cake, had a wander around the bluebells or just came to say hello, your support means the world.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that, together, we raised an incredible £7,057.73 – a fantastic achievement that will help us continue supporting children and families who rely on our services.

If you joined us, we’d love to see your highlights - please do share your photos and tag us!
