The Children’s Respite Trust enjoyed a fantastic day of cricket, community spirit and fundraising at Pevensey Cricket Club on 20th September, as three teams came together to support the charity’s work with children with disabilities and their families.
The tournament saw Pevensey Cricket Club, Sussex Taxis and a Children’s Respite Trust XI take to the pitch for a day of friendly competition. Congratulations to Sussex Taxis, who emerged as tournament winners after an enjoyable day of cricket.
Away from the action on the pitch, players and visitors enjoyed a delicious BBQ, a raffle and a bar provided by Retro Events.
The event was a wonderful example of local businesses and the wider community coming together to support a cause that makes a real difference to families across Sussex.
