We would like to say a huge thank you to East Sussex National Golf Resort for their incredible support of Children's Respite Trust over the last few months.
We were delighted to attend both the Artisan & Maker Fair and the Food, Drink & Makers Festival, where we had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, raise awareness of our work and enjoy two fantastic community events.
Across both events, our team ran a variety of fundraising activities including raffles, teddy and toy tombolas, and a colouring competition, raising a fantastic £921.96 to support children with additional needs and their families across Sussex.
These events would not have been possible without the generosity of East Sussex National and the many talented stallholders who kindly donated raffle and tombola prizes. We are also grateful to PaintnGo for providing their interactive wall canvas, King of the Woods for their generous donation and Sam Khan Photography for capturing some wonderful moments at both events.
More than just fundraising, the events gave us the chance to speak with visitors about the work of Children's Respite Trust and share how their support helps us provide specialist respite care, after-school clubs, holiday activities and family support.
East Sussex National's generosity doesn't stop there. We are incredibly grateful that they have also chosen to support us on International Day of Charity on 5th September, when 50% of all bar drink sales will be donated to Children's Respite Trust.
The ongoing support from the East Sussex National and everyone involved in these events makes a real difference to the children and families we support. Thank you for helping us continue to provide vital services and create brighter futures for local families.
