We are delighted to share that Children’s Respite Trust has been awarded a £15,000 grant from the MCF, on behalf of Sussex Freemasons, to support all our services for children with complex disabilities and their families.
The grant, awarded as part of the MCF’s programme for small charities, will provide £5,000 per year over three years. Their multi-year commitment is invaluable, helping us to plan ahead and supporting the continuity of vital services that families rely on. The funding is also unrestricted, giving us brilliant flexibility to direct funds where they are needed most.
Our application focused on the far-reaching impact our services have on families. As we know from the feedback parents share with us, access to regular, high quality respite care can be life changing. This grant will help families to receive that essential support.
The priorities of the MCF closely align with our own. The MCF has a strong commitment to supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities and understands the barriers they face. We are proud to partner with an organisation that shares our vision of helping every child thrive.
This funding represents more than financial support, it is an investment in the wellbeing, stability and future of the children and families we support.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the MCF and Sussex Freemasons, as well as to all the trusts and foundations who continue to support our mission. Together, we can and do make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and families across our community.
