There were plenty of laughs, a brilliant atmosphere and an incredible show of generosity at our Comedy Night last Friday, hosted at Eastbourne Borough Football Club. We’re delighted to announce that, together, our guests helped raise an amazing £4,238 for The Children’s Respite Trust, supporting our work to provide vital respite care for children with disabilities and additional needs across Sussex.
With a fantastic line-up of comedians, the evening certainly delivered on entertainment! The audience was treated to performances from Jason Simmons, Neil McFarlane and Andre Vincent, who each brought their own style of comedy to the stage, keeping everyone laughing throughout the night alongside our wonderful compere, Charmaine Davies.
Alongside the comedy, guests enjoyed the opportunity to take part in our raffle, with a fantastic selection of prizes generously donated by local businesses.

Making a Difference Beyond the Laughter
While the evening was all about having fun, the funds raised will help us continue providing care and support to children with disabilities and additional needs, while giving their families the opportunity to rest, recharge and spend valuable time together.
For many families, respite care means being able to enjoy time with their other children, catch up on much-needed sleep or simply have a little time to themselves, knowing their child is happy, safe and supported. Every ticket purchased and every raffle ticket sold helps us make these moments possible.
