We’re delighted to share that the Children’s Respite Trust has received a generous donation of £1,000 from the Surrey Street Rodders as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations.
Our CEO, Gavin Fisher, had the pleasure of meeting Jon and Mandy from the Surrey Street Rodders at this year’s Wheels Day on Good Friday. The event, held annually, is a major fixture in the UK’s Hot Rod and Custom Car calendar, marking the start of the season and being one of the largest shows in Europe.
Jon and Mandy were introduced to the Trust through our wonderful Ambassador, Trevor, and learned more about our work following our Winter Wonderland event at Ardingly Showground.
To mark their milestone year, the Surrey Street Rodders are donating £1,000 to a different charity each month throughout 2025. We are incredibly grateful to have been selected as one of their chosen causes, and this donation will go a long way in supporting our respite care services for children with disabilities and their families.
