Netball and Quiz Fundraisers Support Children’s Respite Trust During Small Charity Week
We’re so grateful to the fantastic team behind this year’s Battle Charity Netball Tournament, held on Saturday 10th May at Battle Sports Centre. Organised by Leah and Katie Isaac and Katie Meikle, the event brought together ten brilliant teams for a fun-filled day of friendly competition and fundraising for good causes.
The tournament raised over £1,200, which was split between the Children’s Respite Trust and a FND Hope UK. We’re delighted that our share was donated during Small Charity Week via The Big Give, meaning it was doubled at no extra cost – making an even bigger difference for the families we support.
Adding to the impact, Katie Meikle our ambassador also hosted a lively quiz night at Babels in Hastings, raising an impressive £600. Eight teams took part in the evening of trivia which was also in support of the Trust as part of Small Charity Week.
