Our Summer Soirée, held last Friday at The Grand Hotel, was a tremendous success, and it’s all thanks to you, our wonderful guests, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
From start to finish, the evening was filled with laughter, music, dancing, and generosity. We’re delighted to announce that together we raised an incredible £13,662 to support children with disabilities and their families.
The night featured a brilliant line-up of entertainment that kept everyone smiling:
- Molly Stewart as Adele had the room singing along
- DJ Dunk from Synthesize Events kept the dancefloor lively
- Danny the Idiot brought fun and laughter with his balloon-powered antics
- APA Academy of Performing Arts wowed us with their outstanding performance
We’d like to extend a special thank you to NXPhoto and Snappy Shot Events for capturing all the highlights. The full photo album from Nicky and the photobooth can be found on our Facebook page.
Events like this simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of our sponsors. We’re truly grateful to:
Stevens & Carter Sales & Lettings Agents, M S Steelwork Ltd, C J Thorne & Co Ltd, We Are RAM Construction, Wellesley Charitable Foundation, D T Decorators, Barwells Solicitors, Amstech Group UK Limited and SLP Accountants.
We want to give a huge shoutout to the volunteers who made the Summer Soirée run so smoothly. As the evening fell towards the end of Volunteers Week, it was the perfect reminder of just how vital our volunteers are. Whether setting up, welcoming guests or selling raffle tickets, Katie M, Katie R, Kyle, Hannah and Evie-Mae made the evening a success.
We were also overwhelmed by the generosity of local businesses and individuals who donated an amazing range of raffle and auction prizes. Guests enjoyed a competitive silent auction with a live leaderboard, a hilarious balloon competition, and the chance to win some brilliant goodies in the raffle.
Thank you to everyone who contributed prizes, including:
The Lansdowne Hotel Eastbourne, 4Golf Simulators Eastbourne, MSK School of Martial Arts, Cameo Eastbourne, The Grand Eastbourne, Gun Brewery & Taproom, East Sussex National Golf Resort & Spa, Food for Comfort, Buxted Park Hotel, Ocado, Bill’s, The Pamper Lounge Uckfield, Brighton Zip, George Moss Jewellers, Sarah Allen Skincare and Make Up, Alison’s Aloe, Live Love Cook, Rustico Eastbourne, Shoe Shuffle Hastings and Deliciously Sweet Chocolate Company.
Your kindness has helped raise vital funds to support families caring for a child with a disability. Thank you all for giving so generously.
