Par-tee at Sweetwoods for SSA and CRT Golf Day

The 10th Annual Charity Golf Day with Simple Safety Advice and the Children's Respite Trust.

We are pleased to announced that our Tenth Annual Golf Day, hosted in association with Simple Safety Advice last week was a swinging success and raised a phenomenal £14,394.

The winning team was PJ Brown followed by Topline and then Redwing Roofing. The Individual winner was Robbie Whittaker of PJ Brown, with Daniel LeSurf from Quantum Digital coming in second. Third place was Dean Russell of SDS Drylining. Thank you to the individuals and organisations that got involved for a great day of golf and fundraising for the Children’s Respite Trust.

We were blessed with a day of sun following on from the early morning thunderstorm. All the players got to enjoy the course at Sweetwoods Golf Club at it’s best! Thank you so much to the Club and fantastic staff for keeping everyone well-fed and refreshed.

The shotgun start meant that all players were able to return to the clubhouse for lunch and fundraising activities such as the live auction, raffle and putting competition. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated raffle prizes including Sarah Allen of Mary Kay, Alison Purves, East Sussex National plus everyone who donated auction prizes.  The attendees generous participation resulted in the astounding total which will have a great impact on the lives of the families we support.

We cannot put on great events without the support of local organisation so a special thank you to our sponsors Roselands Heating, SDS Drylining, Redwing Roofing, Westways Vending, Laconian & Associates, DT Decorators, CBS Bookkeeping, Oak Construction, Bluebell Railway, JGPS Consulting, Teknicare, Print Matters and Quantum Digital.

And finally, thank you so much to, Simple Safety Advice, for all of their time effort which has helped to raise this incredible total – it really will make a big difference to our ability to care for disabled children across Sussex and Kent.
