The Children’s Respite Trust is delighted to report that the Foyle Foundation has chosen to support the Children’s Repsite Trust with a grant of £5,000 towards the core running costs of the New Respite Centre.
While much of the Centre has been funded through donations from Trusts and Foundations, this contribution is of significance as it can be used for costs such as rent, rates and utilities.
The Trust’s CEO, Gavin Fisher, said of the grant “We are hugely grateful to the Foyle Foundation for recognising the importance of core funding, as we could have the best equipped Centre in the country, but it would be meaningless without the funds to run it.”
The grant comes at an important time for the Trust as we provide our half-term day-care sessions and look forward to planning our Christmas sessions.
