Charity Comedy Night Raises £3,460 for Disabled Children in Sussex

Another sucessful comedy night for the Children's Respite Trust.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for a night of laughter and fun at our Comedy Night last Friday. We hope you had a fantastic evening!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that this event, made possible by your generous support, has raised an astounding £3,460 for the Trust. The total raised will go a long way towards supporting our vital care and services for disabled children and their families throughout Sussex.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to our sponsors: J Kirby Electrical Ltd, CBL Fastenings, Acorns Charitable Trust, CWJ Landscapes, Barwells Solicitors and Summit Environmental Limited. Without their continued support, events like these would not be possible. The help from our dedicated Ambassadors, Derek and Helen means that we can continue running successful comedy night and we are infinitely grateful for their support.

A special shout-out goes to our talented comedians organised by Jim Grant from Oi Oi Comedy Club  – Patrick Monahan, Richard Morton, and Jason Simmons who kept us entertained. Thank you to Langney Sports Club for welcoming us back with their warm hospitality and for generously providing us with the venue each year.

The excitement didn’t stop with the comedy, our raffle featured amazing prizes from the Gun Brewery, Alison’s Aloe, Freedom Leisure Uckfield and Kathryn McKenzie Personal Training raising over £700 on its own.

Mark your calendars! Our next Comedy Night is scheduled for the 23rd of February 2024. You can purchase tickets now through our website at www.crtcharity.org/event/comedy/
