We’re delighted to say that phase II of our building work is now well underway and the new car park is complete.
A huge thank you goes to all the guys at Taylor Wimpey for working tirelessly through the bad weather to complete it in a week. They gave their time and talents free of charge, as did Hailsham Roadways, who completely resurfaced the entrance.
JT Mackley and Co donated the “grass grid” base and other building materials were funded by students at Battle Abbey School.
It has all helped to make the outside space at the Trust’s Respite Centre in Uckfield a whole lot more accessible and definitely a lot nicer to look at.
We’re really looking forward to making much more use of the outside area in summer months and can’t thank everyone involved enough for helping to make it all possible.
