Smile, it’s Easter.

Eggs to be delivered to our children from Tesco Uckfield

We’re so grateful to everyone for donating towards the Children’s Respite Trust’s Smile Appeal and we’re very pleased to announce that we have hit our target.

Members of the Trust’s team spent the Easter bank holiday weekend delivering the packages, stuffed full of activities to families with disabled children across Sussex and Kent. The Smile packs are more than activities for the children – they are reminders that we are still here, still caring.

The children were eggstatic about opening them. Plenty of generous local people and business donated Easter eggs to add to the packs.

We want to say a particular thank you to #Yespromoproducts for the bags and to #annemariesmithmwsolicitors, the National Trust, #dawsonhart100, the Met Police and customers of Tesco in Uckfield for the amazing amount of Easter Eggs. They were a fantastic addition to the packs and have all been very much appreciated by the children.

People donated through this website, through Facebook, Virgin Money Giving and even by decluttering their houses.

Thank you to all of you – you have helped to make life that little bit brighter for so many children and families this Easter.

If you missed the chance to take part in the appeal, you can still donate. It won’t buy a Smile Pack, but will still help our vital work for disabled children at this uncertain time.
